GCC-1022 Protected Silver Mirrors
Protected silver offers a higher surface reflectivity than the enhanced aluminum coating. It provides an average reflection of approximately 95% in the visible wavelength range. This coating is a hybrid design optimized to provide increased environmental stability and maximum shelf life. The silver layer is protected both underneath and above with dielectric layers which minimizes tarnishing and allows cleaning by normal laboratory methods. These mirrors have very high reflectivity from 0.45 microns through the infrared.
