Move your motorized stages or other stepper-motor driven appliances with up to 40 kHz speed and current of max. 3 amps per motor. In combination with our standard GCD motorized stages, the microstepping allows down to sub-micron resolution. With compact size and industrial quality PCB components the driver offers high reliability and low heat dissipation.
The on-board microprocessor executes your transmitted commands even after interrupting the data bus. The RS-485 bus allows 2-wire cable length of up to 1200 meters, higher distances can be achieved by using repeaters.
The voltage range of 15~48VDC provides high compatibility with most standard motors. The current can be limited to your requirements by a simple software command from 0 to 3 amps to provide energy saving and low heat production.

The driver board is simply controlled by a 14-byte serial command sequence, white papers are available for download. Our policy is to provide open architecture for this product for a maximum versatility. This allows integration in your existing application without installing any additional drivers or DLLs.

Above picture shows three-dimensions assembly sample. Each PCB board comes without heat sink to ensure maximum versatility with your application. Of course, customized heat sinks can be delivered upon request.

This easy to use control panel gives you full access to all functions of the TangoSTEP driver hardware. The free TangoSTEP Basic Version controls up to 4 dimensions simultanously on your PC, the software can be downloaded free of charge without any limitations.
Define the movement with different speeds (10 Hz ~ 40 kHz) and user selectable ramp (0 ~255 steps). Run different motors at different speed at the same time. the digital readout on the screen always gives you information af the actual position, with resolution of up to 0.1 µm*. Also freely select gear ratio from 10:1 to 10:10,000 for maximum flexibility to existing motors.

Motor current can be regulated from 0 to 3 amps in 15 steps to prevent your motor from overheat damage and allow power saving.

With TangoSTEP Instructor Version, up to 15 Dimensions can be controlled simultaneously. Also a comfortable scripting feature is implemented to run your sequence automatically. With only five commands our powerful scripting language gives you the possibility to run your application automatically with user-defined sequence breaks or pause delays if desired.
